Gun Facts - Debunking the myths of Gun-control

Postby Martin_tu » Mon, 2006-04-17 09:37

INTRODUCTION: Gun Facts is a free e-book that debunks common myths about gun control. It is intended as a reference guide for journalist, activists, politicians, and other people interested in restoring honesty to the debate about guns, crime, and the 2nd Amendment.

Gun Facts has over 80 pages of information. Divided into chapters based on gun control topics (assault weapons, ballistic finger printing, firearm availability, etc.), finding information is quick and easy. Each chapter lists common gun control myths, then lists a number of documented and cited facts that directly dispute the gun control claim. Thus when a neighbour, editor, or politician repeats some slogan propagated by gun control advocacy groups, you can quickly find that myth, then refute.

Although American-based, most of the facts may be transposed to the South African scenario. Remember though that here in South Africa, we unfortunately do not however enjoy the Rights of the Second Amendment. (Martin_tu).
