Latest court ruling excellent news for firearm applicants!

Postby Shannow » Wed, 2008-07-30 17:43

I just want to express my elation at the latest court ruling - posted under latest news on this site - where a high court judge has slammed the National Firearms Registry, stating that their modus operandi make a mockery of the idea of a fair process being followed with license applications.

As far as I can see, this verdict specifically addresses the application for collecters license for specific firearms, but I am hopeful that it will carry some benefit for normal license applicants as well.

Any opinions in this regard?

Good news.. now only if they can apply the same principle to all firearm applications. 1-2 years wait is far too long for something that is a basic right. They should have to prove that you should NOT be issued a license.
